Observing in Biology and Education

Over Chuseok, a Korean holiday, I went with my family to Tsushima, an island in between Japan and Korean, which is owned by Japan and has a lot of Korean tourists. While staying there, we stayed at a beach. When the tide was low, I discovered a tidal pool, with hermit crabs and fish. I found that I could, and did, stay there for hours and just observe the peculiars and habits of those tiny creatures.

This shows the fact that I can observe carefully and thoughtfully. That is incredibly important in becoming a scientist or teacher. For scientists, it is important to detect changes in variables and experiments. Taking records of details and noticing possible dangers are also part of it. For teachers it is important because teachers must notice changes in behavior of students to stop problems and situations to arise. Observation is also important to check homework, quizzes, and tests of the students.

  1. This really shows that you're just made to be a teacher! Keep strong in what you're doing and keep striving towards your goal. From what I read I know you can do it!
